Nepalese food: your questions

What is Nepalese food?

It is the cooking of Nepal. On our menu that means momo, traditional Nepalese dumplings, and dishes such as Bhutuwa (Chicken / Lamb), cooked with dried crushed chilli and crushed garlic, and Chicken Rum Rum, cooked with Himalayan herbs and Nepalese black peppers (timur).

Is Nepalese food like Indian food?

There is common ground: both are on our menu, both include curries and dishes from the clay oven, and you can tell us your spice level. The Nepalese dishes bring their own ingredients, such as the Himalayan herbs and timur, Nepalese black pepper, in Chicken Rum Rum. If you usually order Masala, try Kathmandu Tikka Masala.

Do you serve Indian dishes too?

Yes. Our kitchen also cooks Indian favourites: Masala, Dum biryani and curries in Korma, Balti, Bhuna, Dhansak, Jalfrezi, Madras and Vindaloo styles.

How do I book a table?

Choose Book a table to pick your party size, date and time. You'll complete your booking on Nabatable, our booking partner's website.
