Using this website
This website tells you about the pub: our menus, opening hours and how to find us. It does not take bookings, orders or payments, and there are no accounts or forms to fill in.
Links for bookings, directions and social updates open other websites, such as Nabatable, Google Maps and Instagram. Their own terms apply once you are there. Our privacy notice and cookies page explain how this website handles information.
Booking a table
Every table booking is made on Nabatable’s website. When you choose Book a table (opens in a new tab), Nabatable’s booking page opens in a new tab. We cannot take a booking by phone or email.
Nabatable looks after your table once it is booked, including any change to it. Follow the confirmation and instructions it gives you, where any conditions that apply are shown.
- Booking for 12 or more? Nabatable will ask you to call the pub on Call 01480 450550.
- No deposit for small-group parties.

Private hire
Private hire is available at The Barley Mow. A table booking does not reserve a space of your own, so talk to the team about the room, the timings and the arrangements for your occasion before you invite your guests.
Takeaway and collection
Order by phone or at the bar and collect from The Barley Mow. 10% off collection orders: the listed menu prices are before the collection discount.
Tell the team about any allergy before you order. Our takeaway menu and allergen information explain what we can tell you about each dish.
Prices and service at the pub
Please speak to a member of staff if you have any allergen concerns before ordering. All prices include VAT. Free tap water is available on request. Management reserves the right to refuse service.
